The war memorial of the First World War on the Egarten (grassland) is situated high above the village of Hohenstadt, offers seating and a wonderful view of the surrounding area. The structure, with its ring-shaped memorial stones, is reminiscent of an early cult site. Next to it is the rather simple war memorial "German-French War 1870/71".

The large war memorial commemorates the fallen of World War I. It is located on the hiking trail with a good view of Hohenstadt. There is a wooden bench right next to it. Here you can take a good rest.
