Up to the dam with its height of around 94 m above the valley floor and a crown length of around 370 m. The reward comes quickly in the form of an outstanding panoramic view of the reservoir, the surrounding mountains of the Thuringian Slate Mountains and down into the valley of the dammed mountain stream Lichte. A wide hiking area on the reservoir begins here with many viewpoints.
