The Troy Castle of Steigra is probably the only preserved lawn labyrinth in Germany. Even today, the labyrinth lines are carefully maintained by the residents of Stegras and regularly cut out again. Until the middle of the 20th century, the work was carried out by confirmands. In spring, the last weekend in April, the liberation of the Jungfrau (sun) is celebrated here. A young knight has to free the virgin (sun) from the dragon (winter). It's nice and fun to just walk through the lawn maze.
