The history of the Ulm Theater began more than five centuries ago. Since then, the three-part theater has survived several wars and moved several times - from a school hall to a former granary, to temporary accommodation in a carriage house and coach house, to the specially built theater building from the 1960s on Olgastrasse, where the theater is still located today. Ulm can claim to have the oldest city theater in Germany.
