The trout pond at Bonnewitzer Bach is often incorrectly labeled as "Sauteich" on maps. In fact, as early as 1781, the pond was named as a breeding water for trout in the mileage sheet. It was no longer to be found in maps from the 19th century, which indicates that the dam was not restored until around 1900.
