The Sacrower See probably has the best water quality in and around Berlin. Visibility is more than 4 meters. The entrance is flat, dirt or sharp stones are not to be seen far and wide. It goes without saying that many people want to swim here. And this is also the only downside to this beautiful lake. The lying surface is quite small overall, but surprisingly it wasn't overcrowded in the research test of the Top10 editorial team. The recommendation: if it gets too much on land, take refuge in the cool water!
There is also another small bathing area just a few meters away from the forest path, which borders on a small lawn and also offers more shade overall due to the forest location.

Beautifully situated and rewarding lake, which can be well circumnavigated. To the lake belongs to parts of the Berlin Wall Trail with a turbulent history from times of the Cold War. A memorial booth with information informs about a flight story. Nearby there is the Sacrow Castle Park with two other attractions. Who wants to translate from Wannsee by ferry has two options with very different travel times (please inform in advance): either with the Potsdam water taxi from Krughorn or the BVG ferry from Wannsee to Kladow and then 4.5 km hike south.

Coming from Potsdam via Krampnitz, Sakrower parking lot.
We walked around the lake to the left and came out in Sakrow. On the way to the water on the other side, you pass a small restaurant.
There is a beer garden at Sakrower Castle, which unfortunately went into its winter break yesterday.
From the castle, it goes to the Heilandkirche and from there this wonderful round ends at the parking lot.
We started the way back by car via Kladow, Gatow and the Havelchaussee.
There you can only drive 30, but you pass the Grunewald Tower (opposite is a beer garden) and a little further you can make a detour to the small island of Lindwerder (very tasty food).
We wanted to eat currywurst and fries on the Spinnerbrücke in Wannsee to look at cool bikes.
Perfect weather, perfect trip, perfect day.
