The pear tree meadow is a beautiful and idyllic meadow near Weidling surrounded by old fruit trees. It offers a great view of the Vienna Woods and is a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers. There are several hiking trails that lead to the Birnbaumwiese, for example from Weidling on the Managettastraße or from Kierling on a forest path. The pear tree meadow is also a good starting point for further hikes in the Eichenhain Nature Park, where you can visit, for example, the Windischhütte, the Gsängerhütte or the 300-year-old oak tree.
