At 542 meters, the Hermannskogel is the highest mountain in Vienna. Located on the border with Lower Austria, it can be reached quickly from Döbling, Vienna's 19th district. It is definitely worthwhile to come up here in autumn or winter. If the view is not clouded by fog, you can enjoy a beautiful view over Vienna.

From the Heurigenort Sievering to the highest mountain in Vienna: In the past, the excursion with the Stellwagen to Sievering and the subsequent hike were very popular, later you took the tram and today the city bus struggles through the narrow streets of the Heurigenort.
On the city hiking trail 2 you soon reach the Vienna Woods and - after a strenuous climb - also the highest mountain in Vienna, the Hermannskogel. Overall, this hiking trail in the Vienna Woods is very rewarding.
