The Tomburg on the mountain of the same name on the Swister Eifelfuß can be seen from afar. Around 900 the castle complex was built, which was gradually expanded. After fierce fighting, the castle complex was almost completely destroyed in 1473 and not rebuilt. The actual mountain with the ruins on the summit can only be reached via steep, unpaved roads. So you can calmly be satisfied with the distant view and enjoy the distant view from the Eifel foot when the weather is nice.
