With the (almost punctual) train to Au an der Sieg to the Rhine through the northern Westerwald (it said so on a hiking map).
Today no towns (or castles) - today it was about conquering the valleys of the streams mentioned in the description.

Am Rhein durch Köln, Dünnwalder Wald mit Hornpottsee (Wasserbüffel)
Garmin hat nur 200 Höhenmeter gemessen - das wird näher an der Wahrheit sein. 😉
Die Wasserbüffel haben bestimmt irgendwo im Schatten gelegen - ich habe sie leider nicht entdeckt.
