Talmühlweiher (Herzogweiher)

Nice pond. The Talmühlbach flowing south through the area forms the Herzogweiher below Schloss Fantaisie.

The path around the Herzogweiher is very idyllic. You can watch the duck families circling there. The pond is fed by the Talmühlbach.

The palace park is characterized by elements from the style phases Rococo, Sensitivity, Romanticism and Historicism. The park has been returned to its original state. The south-facing terraces facing the lake were replanted with vines, the labyrinth was laid out again and the water cascades were repaired with sandstone shells and mythical creatures.

Wonderful park with shady and sunny spots. Here is a labyrinth and many other great things to discover.

The pond is in the valley between the castle and the victory tower on the Talmühlbach. Upstream you come to the Salamandertal. Walk down the stream through the park to the sports field.
