Nice hut to rest in the middle of the forest but with a wonderful view

One of my favorite places. After you have climbed the Neckarsteig, you should definitely turn around instead of rushing on. From the east side of the hut you have a fantastic view of Dilsberg.
There are new benches and tables at the hut as well as two sky loungers. However, the hut itself and the new toilets were closed (January 19, 2020). According to the Neckargemünd website, the hut should "be operated by a tenant at the start of the 2020 hiking season".

The hut is now open on weekends and public holidays. Drinks and small tasty dishes.

The Neckarriedkopfhütte has been in operation since May 2020 (after a long back and forth).

From the Neckarriedkopf with its transmitter systems and its mountain hut managed by the same name, you have a wonderful view of Dilsberg.

The Niederriedkopfhütte is open on weekends. There are small dishes and a rich selection of drinks - managed huts are quite rare in Odenwald and Kraichgau.

Reopened since summer 2020. The hut offers hearty snacks with a wonderful view of the Dilsberg opposite. Highly recommended

The hut is operated from Friday to Sunday. The food is simple and delicious. Sausages, tarte flambée, soup or Vesper plates - everything tasted good.
