In 1944, the first prisoner commando was housed in the so-called country house (a popular excursion restaurant). In the GDR era it was a restaurant and holiday resort of the VEB Elektroinstallation Sondershausen. Today the plant is in a neglected condition.

This tour is not really suitable for winter. At least not if you want to climb the highlight.
