Today's Egeler mill was built in the Nöhringswinkel area in 1907 and went into operation in 1908. It was initially powered by a suction gas engine and from 1923 to 1960 by a steam engine. In 1961 it was switched to electric operation.
It used to be a wage and trading mill, from which mainly farmers and bakeries were supplied. In February 1959, the flour mill became a feed mill. The mill is still family-owned today.
