At this point there is a prominent spot with a crucifix and a bench on a hill near Mühlhausen. Here the hiker has a wonderful panoramic view of the valley of the Pleichach.

The Weisse Marter wayside cross is a monument in the area of the Estenfeld district of Mühlhausen.
The crucifix is located next to the dirt road to Maidbronn near the BAB 7.
"Wayside cross, sandstone, referenced 1895."
Base plate with step, framed base, roof-shaped rising intermediate plate, protruding cover plate, above high cross.
Inscriptions in the base: Crucified / Lord Jesus Christ! / have mercy on us / and the poor souls / in purgatory.
