The Stein-Wein -pfad bears - together with around 30 other paths in the Franconian wine region - the quality seal "Paths to Wine". This award is only given if the path is at least three kilometers long and more than half of the route runs through vineyards. Another basic requirement is the consistent and uniform signposting of the route, as is the case with the Stein-Wein -pfad.
In addition to these "technical" requirements, the routes offer a wide variety of attractions such as chapels, wayside shrines or natural monuments. You can discover rare vegetation while hiking or strolling along the Stein-Wein-Path. Stroll past blooming roses, almond or peach trees. And in the historic Tusculum vineyard, learn the most important things about viticulture in earlier centuries in just a few sentences.
