Randersacker was first mentioned in a document in 1119, but a much earlier document reports on the border conditions of Randersacker - the Würzburg Mark Description of October 14, 779. This document reports on a vineyard on this border, so that this date is the first evidence of viticulture on today's Randersacker district is viewed. In 1979, Randersacker celebrated its 1200th anniversary as a wine village with a large parade of all clubs, guilds and chapels. A Jewish religious community existed in Randersacker until 1298, which was wiped out during the persecution of beef. In 1451, Randersacker was finally granted market rights. In the 16th and 17th centuries, the place was divided by denomination, all festivals were celebrated twice due to the different conversion to the Gregorian calendar. The fish market on the Flecken, which takes place annually in October, is a reminder of this market right. As part of the Bishopric of Würzburg, Randersacker fell to the Kingdom of Bavaria during secularization in 1803. In the Peace of Pressburg (1805) it came with the Hochstift area to Archduke Ferdinand III. of Tuscany to form the Grand Duchy, with which it reverted to Bavaria in 1814. In the course of administrative reforms in Bavaria, today's municipality came into being with the municipal edict of 1818.
