Hiking
Parts of the collections go back to the 16th century. The current building was occupied in 1893. The museum looks after the collections for the University of Copenhagen.
The collections include items from Greenland expeditions and from the Royal Chamber of Art, as well as from Ole Worm's Museum Wormianum collection.
