Lovely steady walk through the woods, there's also part of the Cadorna line tucked away . At the top of the weather is good it's a nice touch to get the best view and climb the ladder!

Monte Piambello (1125 m.) is an ancient volcanic cone which remained active up to about 250 million years ago and whose lava flows, largely made up of porphyry and now covered by vegetation, descend towards the center of the valley towards of Brusimpiano on the bank of Ceresio.
