From the Simplon Pass, the trail leads along the stream along some tricky points in the repertoire. Larger stone blocks, narrow switchbacks and also narrow passages have to be reckoned with. Several bridges force you to descend again and again. Even if none of this sounds positive, it is an ingenious trail that I would like to ride again. The natural spectacle is indescribable and adorns the trail in a special adventure. For me a top class S3 trail. Not easy, but fun. After 8.7 km, the junction comes to the next section. Unfortunately it was blocked and so I rescheduled right away. Thanks to Komoot, this is no problem "on the fly". So we pressed a few more hm, which were also worth it. The Roswald Trail is very fluid and at the end of such a great day, a real relaxation. You can find more trails in the Valais in my collection at:komoot.de/collection/932870/-meine-top-10-im-wallis

The Stockalperweg hiking trail leads from the Simplon Pass to Gondo. At first it is very playful and characterized by the alpine meadows. A few blocked sections follow before going down to the stream. Here you have to hold on to your handlebars properly, because of the blocks your bike will sunbathe. But the natural spectacle will outshine everything and you will be amazed by the variety of trails. We were able to follow the trail nicely up to the Ford Gondo. As a result of Corona, the Ford was still closed and we switched to the pass road. The last section on the left was also closed due to falling rocks. So do not use this record to track, but the following tour record:komoot.de/tour/81368287You can find more tours in the Valais under my collection:

Today I had another guest to visit and what a master on two wheels. As a former XC license driver, I couldn't help introducing him to the Flückiger Brothers trail. I only led him to the entry point and then there was no stopping. Left right and where is he ??? Somewhere it spiked us out to the forest and I saw a very broad grin between his ears. You can find more trails in the region in my collection:

The weather did not want as we planned and so it happened that we left the Valais for once and stayed at home. Thilo. from the Trail Protectors entrusted us and yet also surprised that there are such trails here.Tour description and other tours in the region can be found here:

The first trail begins less than 100 meters from our front door. We pass root to root and then route via Bützberg to the Vitaparcour. The next root fun follows.
On the climb to Dornegg we had to dig deep into the toolbox and repair a shoe with clicks. But this is also patched up permanently and the climb to Dornegg followed. A short breather and further up the mountain. Once at the highest point, a real trail storm follows. S1, S2 and sometimes S3. Falling is not recommended on this slope, but the trail is in great condition and has a big grin between your ears.

Esch is a great privilege to take a tour on which you can start with root trails almost on the doorstep. A loose clit on the shoe ensures a short repair stop early on. But no problem, B @ has once again conjured up the right tool from his backpack. Then continue on hidden forest paths to the Lindentower. Short classy descent to the Linden Passhöhe and over a crisp climb to Dornegg. A really cool trail starts there, which offers everything from S1 to S3 and various terrain. We are in the territory of the Flückiger-Brothers, who have their training grounds and playground here and are thus getting fit for the World Cup. Back we choose the way to Oberbützberg then down another fun trail to Thörigen and via Sängeliweier, Langenthal back home. A real trail paradise in our Oberaargau!
