Flutter mill in Grotegaste
The flutter mill is the smallest and most primitive type of mill and was used as a portable water scoop mill in lowlands from the Netherlands to Schleswig-Holstein. It is a Dutch invention of the 16th century. She served in the low-lying polders of Holland, as well as East Friesland drainage mill for pasture.
