Very nice climb past Horben to the Gerstenhalm or Geiersnest. The last hundred meters of altitude to the barley stalk are not paved (about a kilometer) and the path is also quite washed out and steep, so that you will push at least temporarily. This route is not suitable for racing bikes. You should use the paved path to the corner courtyard. Then you can ski via Ortisei. Of course, it can also be done the other way round. This is probably also the more humane variant.
