In 1213 a manor was mentioned for the first time, from which a knight's seat in 1445 and a manor in 1552 emerged. In 1732 major renovations were carried out under Georg Friedrich von Buda. The last building measures in 1916/17 gave rise to the manor house in its present form. From 1925 Woldemar Erich Clauss acquired the estate. In 1950 he was expelled and the estate brought into an LPG. After reunification, Clauss got the property back and sold it to the Bockelwitz community, which had it converted into a cultural center.
