A wonderful section of the trail on which various hiking trails run. (Määrchenweg, Panoramaweg) A narrow and sometimes steep footpath leads between the lava bomb in Strohn and a cross above the geological outcrop of the Wartgesberg, high up the ridge of the quarry.
Through dense hazelnut bushes you can hear the Alfbach rushing deep down, on the other side you can see the active quarry. Several secured viewpoints invite you to take a break.

The path leads over the ridge on the edge of the "Wartgesberg" quarry and the Strohner Schweiz. The view into the quarry is impressive. But you shouldn't miss the view down to the Strohner Mühle on the opposite side either.
