The two Pelzer houses 11 + 12 are the only surviving Renaissance town houses on the former medieval fur trader street, today's Pelzerstraße in the area of the old town. The houses reflect a piece of old Emden and its trade. If you visit Emden, you should definitely include it in your city tour.
Here you can relax in the adjoining culture café and get further information. The houses belong to the Emden State Museum.
