The Blankenburg village church, dating from the middle of the 13th century, stands on the village meadow in what is now the Berlin district of Blankenburg in the Pankow district, in the middle of the cemetery, which is surrounded by a late medieval wall made of fieldstones. It is one of over 50 village churches in Berlin that are listed as historical monuments.
