After bankruptcy in the summer of 2019, the "Schwarzer Adler" has been open again since December 1, 2020 ..... but is currently (as of February 2021) in the corona lockdown.

When we were in Bernau the days the restaurant was open. But we went somewhere else to eat because we were nearby. The view through the window at the Schwarzer Adler was certainly interesting, the menu can be viewed here:
