Dr. Carl Weber, born in Kirdorf in 1845, was a well-known and respected physician in Bad Homburg.
At his suggestion and thanks to his financial support, a mostly shaded hiking trail was created in 1899 along the Kirdorf stream for spa guests, tourists from Frankfurt, and walkers from Homburg. The trail was later renamed the "Weberpfad" (Weber's Path) by the city.translated by•July 27, 2025
