An aqueduct from the 19th century. that still manages water for agriculture over the deep ravine between Maro and Nerja. It is easily reached on foot via a dirt road.
The sugar cane sugar factory that used to be supplied with this water is now a ruin.
However, the best view of this is from the N-340a.

The "Eagle Aqueduct", built in the Roman style, is architecturally an interesting building. It consists of four floors constructed of bricks, on which 37 arches are distributed.

A small dirt road just before the roundabout takes you to the top of the aquaduct. Built in 1880 for the sugar cane factory, it is still used today to irrigate the fields.
