A very beautiful and spacious monastery complex with the church as its highlight. The buildings outside the monastery walls are also mostly former farm buildings and worth seeing. The monastery café with its garden terrace invites you to take a short break.

The Cistercian monastery, with an impressive double tower facade and baroque church, is located directly on the Kocher-Jagst cycle path and is definitely worth a visit. The monastery café is located in the complex itself and invites you to linger. Coming from the north, the “Gasthaus zur Post” is on the left and offers refreshment for anyone who “just” wants to admire the monastery from the outside.
