The Emil Wendt Park is after its renovation, after extensive participation of the population, worth a visit. Especially because you do not expect this green idyll. Immediately near Reeperbahn and Große Freiheit.
No fifty meters away, the traffic rushes on the Holstenstraße and south on the Louise Schröder road over. It's loud right there. And not exactly comfortable. From here, from the park, you can also walk on quiet paths and in the countryside in the north, direction Wohlers Park or south to the fish market, located directly on the Elbe.
