The Hockenheimring, which was rebuilt in 2002, is much shorter today and the two forest straights, which were really long right-hand bends, belong to nature again. The old sections of the track have been renatured and reforested and are now a biotope. Wild boars and rare bird species, such as the Heidelerche, feel at home there.

I think you don't necessarily have to go here by bike. The paths are not paved on the sand dune and after all it is a biotope.
