Good view of the natural spectacle of the crane resting areas: The Kranorama is a modern observation station in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The station is looked after by employees of the Groß Mohrdorf crane information center.

The KRANORAMA is a barrier-free crane observation station on the Günzer See, which was opened on 15.10.2015. From here you can look directly at the Günzer Seewiesen - a European bird sanctuary and national natural heritage, which is developed nature conservation compatible by Kranichschutz Germany. Audiovisual media and a live transmission of the cranes from the field to a large screen make the KRANORAMA a modern lookout point. Even the way from the car park to the KRANORAMA is an experience, because here are many exciting information boards and seating.
In spring and autumn the KRANORAMA is open almost every day (9.30-17.30). Current opening hours will be announced on the Internet (see Source) as well as in the NABU Crane Center and on Facebook (facebook.com/kranichschutz). The visit is free for private individuals.

In spring and fall, a visit to the Kranorama is definitely worthwhile. Visitors can expect a magnificent spectacle. Hundreds to thousands of cranes and geese gather in the meadows, calling, hooting, honking, and fluttering around, flying away and returning. There's also great information on the information boards and from the friendly rangers on hand.
