The church of the village, which was first mentioned in 1361 and is accessible via a steep staircase, is located on a hill and is a medieval fieldstone building. At the end of the Second World War the church was severely damaged. By 1952 the north wall and the east gable had been repaired, the cornice renewed and the roof re-covered. After reunification, extensive renovation work was necessary, which began in 1996. On the Reformation Day in 1999, the church was solemnly re-consecrated. In 2014, the church tower was completely renovated, a new tower clock and the front door were rebuilt based on the historical model. In addition to the services that have become rarer, church weddings regularly take place in the Wulkow church. In cooperation with the castle hotel directly opposite, the church has meanwhile acquired a reputation as a "wedding church" far beyond the region.
