    Hiking

    Lowgill Viaduct dates to 1859 and is Grade II-listed. The 11-arched bridge is 100 feet (30 m) high and 620 feet (189 m) long.

    Road cycling

    With no less than eleven arches, the Lowgill Viaduct spans some 620 feet (189 metres) , with each archway measuring up as 45 feet (14 metres) wide.

    It was built in 1859 for the Ingleton Branch Line of the London and North Western Railway, but today has no use other than providing an impressive landmark.
