Klennow is a small village between Lüchow and Wustrow. In 1972 the village was incorporated into the city of Wustrow as a district. At its core, Klennow is a Rundlingsdorf (Klennow was first mentioned in a document as "Klenowe" in the Lüneburg fiefdom register in 1360), around which other houses and farms were later built that are not part of the Rundlings (most of it is considered an "independent" village with the place name Neritz).

Cycling

Small villages in Wendland, consisting of little more than a dozen houses. What connects them is the arrangement of the individual buildings: the gable ends of the farmhouses, mostly typical North German hall houses, all point to a central square in the middle of the village, resulting in a round shape. It brought the villages the name Rundlinge. A particularly large number of Rundlings can be found west of Lüchow.
