The pictures show the Upper Girnbach Stollen, with its slate and ore tailings pile and the current construction measures.
In autumn 2010 and spring 2011, the heap was cleared. Here, in 2013, in consultation with the owner of the surface and the mining authority, the spilled tunnels will be hit, a gallery mouth hole will be masonry and closed again. We will integrate this well-preserved pit field into the pit trail.
The Upper Girnbach tunnel has a total length of about 280 m and led under the vein of the Girnbach Pingen.
