The old train station is privately owned and can be viewed from outside with the train. 100 meters further there are benches to linger and the beer garden at platform 3.

        Pfalzfeld Station at Km 29.0
Pfalzfeld Station is beautifully situated above the village of Pfalzfeld. The track layout was built in the same style as Alterkülz, Ebschied, and Lingerhahn. There is also a beautiful water tower above the station.

The station building (central station building) is slightly larger than at the other stations on the Hunsrück Railway between Simmern and Boppard. However, the building can also be found in Windesheim, Argenthal, Sohren, and Hirschfeld. The same design was also used on the Nahe River, in Niederhausen. Two water cranes completed the scene in 1906. Further facts: Pfalzfeld is the highest point on the Hunsrück Railway Simmern - Boppard, and the village of Pfalzfeld was the second-largest village along the entire line around 1900. Also noted in 1906 are entry signals and a mechanical barrier on the Pfalzfeld - Lingerhahn road in the station area. An old photo (see photo gallery) clearly shows the shed in front of the freight terminal, which protected the signal box from wind and weather until around 1950. After the opening of the Kastellaun-Pfalzfeld line on October 1, 1906, trains from Simmern terminated in Pfalzfeld. At the same time, construction continued on the line to Boppard.
