This country road (L206) in the Gründelbachtal is for me the most pleasant and beautiful route to drive from the Rhine to the Hunsrück. Very calm, acceptable asphalt surface and with a fairly even, moderate slope. I ride my racing bike and I hardly have to shift into lowest gear.

Very nice, quiet valley from the Rhine up to the Hunsrück. At first you hardly feel the ascent, but after a few kilometers it becomes slightly alpine. Over some serpentines it goes up with still moderate incline percentages.
