This is a great alternative to riding up Froggatt as it is generally much less busy. It get get busy in the summer up at the top when people part to visit Padley Gorge. There is usually an ice cream van near the top of the climb. Overall it's a lovely climb and as you reach the top the views open up towards Higger Tor and are really beautiful.

Not a particularly steep climb but it’s long although once you’re past the train station and out of the trees you have a nice view of Owler Tor to spur you on
