If you are walking along Baslow Edge, why not add the other 3 to your tour, Froggatt, Curbar, and the lesser known White Edge, great views all along here. Can get busy during the summer months.

Hiking

Baslow Edge is a dramatic gritstone escarpment that offers sublime views over the Derwent Valley, including Chatsworth Estate and the villages of Baslow, Curbar and Calver. Backed by wild moorland, hiking around here is always varied and packed with interest. Keep a look out for the herds of Highland Cattle that roam in this area, birds of prey, plus sights like Wellington’s Monument and the Eagle Stone.
