A special feature are the edge fields spanned with ropes, which have a span of 264 meters on the south side. This made it possible to dispense with pillars in the valley slopes, the planning of which contradicted geological concerns. The prefabricated bridge parts on the Ahldorf side were approached through Nordstetten, for which the top of the Bruckstr. had to be flattened.
