On the north side of the Rudolfstein, about 30 meters west of the Höhenweg, which leads from Weißenstadt to the Rudolfstein, on the southern edge of a long-disused granite quarry, there is a memorial stone with the following inscription: "Here the heartbeat of April 25, 1879 at 4 a.m. on the Auerhahnbalze died ours dear friend Herr Georg von Staff-Reitzenstein, owner of a manor in Conradsreuth etc. dedicated by his friends."

On the Höhenweg between Rudolfstein and Weißenstadt there is a memorial stone hidden in the forest above a former granite quarry. It reminds of the manor owner Georg von Staff-Reitzenstein who died here. Worth seeing memorial stone, but not easy to find.

Somewhat off the path from about 20 m in the direction of the former quarry is this very nice information board (?). Next to it is a small explosive shelter.
