If you are in Emden and like Otto, you can't avoid these 2 Ottifanten.
You just have to visit them. A beautiful East Frisian district with nice residents who also take a quick photo for you.
There is a playground for children nearby, everything is very quiet in the area, wonderful.

Dollartplatz / "Unner de Boomen" is where the Ottifanten donated by Otto Waalkes for his Transvaal district stand, who doesn't know them ?!
Otto grew up in this working-class district. In the adjacent Godfried-Bueren-str. is his parents' house, in the entrance he carved his name into the clinker brick.
The Ottifanten can also be ridden by nice people and are available for photos, they don't bite. ;-)
