Feeling a bit under the weather today, so only a short but very worthwhile trip to the St. Sebald Heiligenstein Church and Chapel. A 6km climb with a 5-15% gradient throughout 🤪 followed by a wonderful downhill ride. According to legend, St. Sebald lived in the grotto as a hermit in the 8th century.

Last stop for this time. A wonderful route from Obersuhl to Eisenach—no headwind. In Eisenach, we climbed up to the Wartburg Castle—bikes aren't allowed all the way up. The view from the castle is magical. The tour inside is fascinating—very worthwhile. The route from Hof to Eisenach is highly recommended
