Today, the favorite kangaroo fought for a non-tariff rest day under threat of a general strike lasting several days. Argument: Species protection.🙄 Well, the tour was actually not entirely suitable for kangaroos, the non-unionized family members were able to test it.😅After the clouds had broken through with the cable car - for a change, pictures had been inserted in advance because Komoot suggested - we were greeted by a bright blue sky and sun on Hochmais. The view of the valley was blocked for a long time by low-hanging clouds. But the foresight into the mountains was spectacular
A wonderful tour with varied paths over meadows, along the mountain, over mountain ridges and through scree. Magnificent views along the entire path, extreme climbs were a challenge, but on the Hundstein we were rewarded with a cool, sparkling drink ... and of course a great view. 😊 As expected, the last kilometers were exhausting after descending more than 1,200 meters. But overall it was a perfect day of hiking ... without a union at all

After yesterday, with a dissenting vote, a hiking rest day for EVERYONE was decided for today, I was able to negotiate afterwards that a walk before breakfast is probably not hiking and therefore does not fall under the resolution. Makes democracy with benevolent and solution-oriented people but really fun.
At 6 a.m. in front of the front door, the first glance at the cell phone and the tour start. Then only the view of the sky ... and WOW - a rainbow across the place, its size can hardly be captured. At the same time, the church bells begin to ring - an almost spiritual moment. 🌈 It was worth getting up for that alone. Nevertheless, you shouldn't spend too much time taking photos today, because if it gets too late, yesterday evening's negotiating partners could regret their courtesy and question the democratic system within the family. I don't have to risk a coup led by the kangaroo early in the morning. So up to Kronreith and a detour to Hochreit, while you're already there. The path is lined with blueberry bushes, a transport container is of course not included. So a bit of mouth robbery, the hands look like after a massacre ... it doesn't matter. But the best thing about it: NO mosquitoes. Only flies and the occasional braking are a bit annoying here during the day, but they weren't on the road this morning either. I was back in time for breakfast - democracy saved

From the BürgelALM today we went to Maria ALM with a break in the ALMhäusl and the PostALM. It also passed Tom's ALMhütte. With the HochkönigCard, cable cars and hiking buses can be used freely in the Hochkönig area ... so get on the public transport, if it's free! 🤣 Many others thought it was like the 100s in Berlin during the main holiday season, only with mountain and Serpentine ride🤦🏼♀️. But okay, I'm on vacation ... Nice gondola up the Gabühlbahn and off we went ... downhill first. In the end it wasn't so nice either, especially for the knees. However, if we had known what kind of gradients await us on the next mountain - up to 35% - we would probably have run downhill to hell 🥵😂. It's good that we strengthened ourselves in the Almhäusl, the Gabühelhütte was closed today. The ascent was tough, luckily Kaspressknödel and Kaiserschmarrn pancakes stayed with us, despite the extreme ascent for us with summer 27 degrees plus sun. The weatherman canceled thunderstorms from 1 p.m. in advance and later. Dark skies and grumbling then announced the opposite - and that shortly after the hiking bus stop in Hintermoos, from which the kangaroo had wisely moved away. It then remained with a little rain and threatening clouds, which we bridged relaxed in the PostALM. I'm not so inclined to food photography, but today I was so excited ... especially since the entire PostALM has been beautifully redecorated inside 😍
All in all a challenging tour, but there is still something ... 😇

Unbelievable ... the miracles still exist: your favorite kangaroo was actually enthusiastic about the hike today and even repeated this several times 🏼♀️ I don't really care about the reasons, it's fun - that's crucial. Although we started walking in the drizzle - from 1 p.m. there is a risk of thunderstorms - there is no rumbling and ranting, simply unbelievable ... beautiful. Of course, the weather does not do what it is supposed to do. Instead of clouds and rain, there is bright sunshine and almost 30 ° C. The damp meadows are instantly transformed into herd of subtropical climates 🥵. After the first few kilometers, the paths are wonderfully wild and exciting. A stream can only be crossed barefoot, a refreshing cooling off. The kangaroo jumps uphill and away from the front while I sneak after me. But I find my way back to the way towards the grotto. The way to the grotto alone fascinates me as a flatland Tyrolean so much that I completely forget to photograph it. The Stone Sea, on which Maria Alm is located, shows itself today, after the clouds have been removed, in all its glory. I could only take photos the whole time📸 ... and the kangaroo also admits that it has succumbed to this weakness today.😉 The thunderstorm has not shown itself until 4 p.m., which gives hope for the next few days. The first tour couldn't have gone better, the favorite kangaroo is happy and highly motivated - and so am I. 🤩

With a view to the weather oracle for the next few days, every time window without a "high thunderstorm probability" ⛈🌩🌦 should be used for hiking. The alarm clock is taboo on the first day of vacation🚫, but the wanderlust lets me wake up at 4:30 a.m.😊 Sneaked out quietly and yet surprised by the still prevailing darkness. The sunrise is canceled due to the weather and the feared Tinitus turns out to be a rushing stream along the way.
First thing this morning to test how things are going with the altitude meters and me, after all, I've already been busy planning tours ... maybe with complete overestimation of myself, because the first ascent already makes me sweat. 🙄 Well, maybe it's the high humidity. 😅 When I look at the landscape, it becomes clear to me: 3D planning in the mountains is even more difficult for me than 2D planning in the flat country ... Well, let's see, what that will be

The old man didn't make it, he couldn't be saved even with an operation ... 🪦😥 He has just blessed the time ⌛, and his young successor is already in the starting blocks as a replacement: he smiles and grooms new Lowa Renegade 🥾 out of its box, and it looks almost like being poached. 🙄 I already miss my wrinkled "old" Renegade, which has been marked by kilometers. He knew me and knew where to hold me and where I needed freedom. 😇 The newcomer feels bulky at first when dressed. Well, we don't know each other yet, that will certainly change on today's tour.
We sniff the first few kilometers, the new one does something. 😬
The little cloud feeling, as with the affair with Meindl Ohio, does not materialize. It feels more like a test of strength - person against shoe - and after the first 2 km I would like to jump into a deep, muddy puddle to show the slippery shoe who is the boss. But at this point it fails the missing mud pit. As if the footsteps had read my thoughts, they suddenly make an effort, become softer and also seem to have become aware of their task in other ways: namely to make me happy! After a part of the 66-lake hiking trail in the NSG Lange Dammwiesen, it goes through the suburbs in Strausberg. Since the GleisBETT of the Strausberg Railway is empty due to construction work, i.e. without rails, the same could be passed without danger at the points to be crossed. In the Anna valley the BED of the Anna river was also empty - no water, just smelly mud. 💩 It's good that the new shoe didn't try the rebellion again, otherwise I would have sunk it here at the latest. 😅 There was no water to be seen in the southern part of the Herrensee either - does that actually mean SeeBETT for lakes? I don't know ... The lack of water is sad in any case, too many lakes simply disappear quietly
In any case, the new hiking boot has proven itself, even if it still looks a bit too slick ... but luckily that goes away with ageHow it all began: komoot.de/tour/400961823?ref=aso

Unfortunately, there is not enough time for MitWandern 2021 at the moment, but at least for a small tour in the 4G area: Groß-Ziehten, Geopark, Grumsin and Gruben. Thank you for the inspiration @hansakeks - komoot.de/tour/369685233?ref=atd 🙏🏼 On site led by Georg, the mammoth 🦣, there was a nice round, partly on creative paths.

Actually, there is not much to say: An unexcited tour in which all parts of the route did what I expected of them. It was nice and cool in the forest, the sun burned mercilessly in the fields and the insects hummed and hummed in the meadows. The Rote Luch gave vision and peace - the best prerequisite for breathing deeply and letting go. Few people were around. And the snack bar at the Straussenhof was also open. Everything was fine today

Today I had the possibility of a ride to the Uckermark - what luck! 😊 A tour from Lychen to Templin had been planned for a long time. Since the time and place of the return journey were still unclear at the start, we started quickly to cover as much of this route as possible. For kilometers I followed wonderfully wild riverside hiking trails along the beautiful Zenssee and Platkowsees in green and turquoise. The transition to the charming Annenwalde was a bit lengthy compared to the previous kilometers. From there it went back to the water and finally around the small bag lake. With perfect timing, the "taxi" fuhr finally arrived in a bag ... I didn't quite manage the planned route, but I got the best out of it.🌾🌳😊
