Today I'm starting at the winery again, crossing the Saale to Schulpforte. The Bergtagweg takes me up into the forest, over the slabs. Nicely restored boundary stones line the path.

Freyburg gilt als Zentrum des Weinanbaugebietes Saale - Unstrut. An allen Ecken kleine oder größere Weinberge und unzählige Strausswirtschaften. Mittendrin zum einen Rotkäppchen (gehört jetzt zur Mumm-Gruppe) und zum anderen die Winzergenossenschaft Saale-Unstrut.
