In order to expand my comfort zone a bit, I thought to myself: going for a hike in the morning at - 4°C would be THE opportunity 😁. In addition, the weather app promised sun all day 🌞 So let's get out! And so it came to stage 6 of my project.A very natural stage with many forest and field sections, which of course was absolutely idyllic with the snow that fell yesterday. Plus the bright sun! Everything was so peaceful😊. I hardly met anyone. And even the towns of Gallun, Motzen and Groß Köris radiated calm.In the first forest section to be passed through, however, the calm was briefly interrupted by a group of wild boars, which crossed my path just in front of me😳🐗🐗🐗 Man, I was scared! They galloped along for a long time, but without paying any attention to me. Puhhh... The deer, which I was also able to observe several times, were very adorable 😍I really enjoyed this stage! There are also some shore rest areas on the lakes, but I didn't use them. Was a bit too fresh for me. 😉A perfect hiking day with peace, adventure, bright sunshine, beautiful landscape and with the realization that I didn't freeze to death and warmed up relatively quickly😀😜

And because it was so nice yesterday, today the 5th stage immediately afterwards. Without drizzle and wind 😊
This time the path led me along the Notte Canal for a short distance. There was also a little residential area, but mostly I hiked through wide, open landscapes. So I could just let my thoughts run free without constantly having the feeling of "having to" take pictures 😁. Was also quite nice, although I usually have a lot of fun looking for great motifs.
In Mittenwalde I was (unfortunately) pretty quick and had to wait 1 1/2 hours for the bus... I feel like I know every street there now😜By the way, the first two photos belong at the end, after Mittenwalde. The Paul Gerhardt and church 😀

.... Sometimes a lot of drizzle, sometimes a little... sometimes a lot of wind, sometimes not so much.... there were also a few dry and windless moments... So the day was quite varied in terms of weather 😁🌧️☁️🌬️ The stage That in and of itself was what I really enjoyed.Residential areas were repeatedly interrupted by sections of forest, paths along the banks of the Dahme, swamp areas, and a spa park. Short distances, but spread over the entire stage. That made the hike quite exciting. New impressions around almost every corner. 😀🤩I would have liked to take a closer look at a small field stone church in Miersdorf, but unfortunately it was closed. It then got a little hilly in the Lauseberge towards Funkerberg😅 A visit to the museum there should be very worthwhile (as my husband assured me), but I had saved that for today. The time would not have been enough. In Königs Wusterhausen I took another turn through the castle park and met a few swans and ducks😊🦢🦆A nice varied stage...

So now continue directly with the 3rd stage. I reached the crooked lake pretty quickly. This section is certainly very romantic and idyllic, but at the moment, depending on the season, it is quite dreary. But the sun really gave everything and made up for some of the sadness. We continued in the direction of Adlergestell and here the signs for the Paul-Gerhard-Weg begin. Then the Zeuthener See soon followed. It's a shame that you can't hike along the shore due to the land bordering the lake.Almost at the Zeuthen S-Bahn station, I came across a tiny, publicly accessible Chinese garden, which is certainly very enchanting at a different time of the year. 😊Now I'm looking forward to stage 4.

For today I had planned the 2nd and 3rd stages of my project. I got out very early and was able to march into the light of day on a wafer-thin layer of snow. It was really nice😊.First it went across the Wuhlheide (I've actually never been there!), Past the Fez and down to the Spree. The first rays of sunshine have already cheated their way through there.
I took a little bit of the old town of Köpenick with me, along with the resolve to take a closer look there.
So I have to say, I find the parts of Köpenick that I've got to know exciting, enchanting and very diverse. There is still something going on .... 😁
Then the ferry soon appeared in front of me on Müggelbergallee (F12), which I took to the water sports avenue. Meanwhile in glorious sunshine! 🌞And if I had already looked at the route for the next stage beforehand, I would not have had to walk to the Grünau S-Bahn station first😜😁.

Today, quite spontaneously, I started my first little hiking project for this year. The Paul-Gerhardt-Weg. Because I absolutely had to get out, even though the weather was rather modest. Anyway, I finally enjoyed being outside a little longer.A city hike like this is a little special, I think. Usually not for me ... too much asphalt ... too many people ... too loud .... But to widen the comfort zone it was exactly the right thing. Very exciting what I got to see.The most glaring thing for me was walking through Görlitzer Park. I didn't feel really comfortable doing it. It's a bit of a culture shock when you are at home in the tranquil Lichterfelde. 😁The Baumschulenstrasse / Oberschöneweide ferry was new to me and I used it directly because it was docked at that moment. Incidentally, the said ferry runs all year round, is a BVG ferry and costs € 2 (short-haul).I came across a little highlight at the end of Treptower Park. Somebody "carves" a fallen tree very artistically. He or she has been doing this since the summer, two walkers knew what to tell me.
But why, for what or for whom, they couldn't tell me. Maybe someone knows, hears or sees something about it.
Now I wish everyone who is reading along a great new hiking year 2022 with many exciting projects.

Today was my first group hike ever and it was a wonderful experience! 😃 I am still very much inspired by this fulfilling day peppered with lots of great conversations😇😊.
Unfortunately, I can't say that much about the route itself (sorry Frank😁), because I was chatting the whole time ... But I have firmly resolved to run the tour again.
In any case, many thanks to Frank for the planning, organization and implementation. 😀👍I wish everyone a Merry Christmas. It was an experience to have met you

After yesterday's birthday party in the smallest circle with very rich and very tasty food and long periods of sitting, I urgently wanted to compensate for this gluttony and move myself (my body wanted that too😉).Since I hadn't really planned anything, I thought: Grunewald is always going, is relatively close (I was late), so let's go!
And so a cozy, entertaining round came about with "Gebirge" (Drachenberg) 😂😅 and the Grunewald Tower.
In the end, I was ready for leftovers again😁😋

So that was the last stage of my Heidschnuckenweg today. My constant companion for that day was a fine drizzle, which kept asking myself: rain jacket over it? Yes No...
After a short rest, the rain jacket won.
I started early today in the still somewhat dark forest. It was a great experience to stomp through it in the semi-darkness. 😊
The forest theme then dominated today's stage. This was only interrupted by two parts of the city of Celle (Scheunen and Groß Hehlen), which looked deserted.
Since today was a totally gray day, the photo yield is quite low.Through the meadow meadows, I got to the train station in Celle early in the day. Since it still didn't want to stop sneezing, I didn't really feel like looking at the city center of Celle anymore. And so I spontaneously decided to go straight back to Berlin. An overnight stay in Celle was actually planned. My conclusion on the Heidschnuckenweg:A really very recommendable long-distance hiking trail! It is easy to walk and the stages can be varied. The accommodation density is quite high (not at all stages).
The landscape is incredibly attractive (especially when the heather is in bloom at the beginning of September) and varied.
In November it is often quite dreary (with sunshine it would have looked a little different).
Despite everything, the landscape still has its charm this month. If you are really looking for total peace and quiet while hiking, this season is highly recommended.
Incidentally, the entire route is perfectly signposted. In both directions!Let's see which hiking project comes to mind next. 🥾😀🥾

And again a wonderful day of hiking comes to an end.The start of the day was already very successful. My lovingly prepared breakfast was just as varied as today's stage.
I was even allowed to choose the shape in which I would like my egg (seal ... / stir ... / cooked ...) I am totally happy that I chose the cooked one (see photo). I actually got that to the table exactly like that😍. (The order of the first four photos is of course incorrect. The horse was next😜).
Otherwise today we went through some heathland areas, interrupted by very beautiful forest sections. I started in the Misselhorner Heide, the largest part of the NSG Heideflächen Mittleres Lüßplateau. This was followed by a piece of forest, then the heather in the Tiefental ... forest again ... the Brönheide ... then ... no, not forest again😁😜.
First, the Angelbecksteich opened up in front of me, where a short rest was announced.
Until I got to the forester's house, I mostly just walked through the forest.
Today was a lot of fun and it was very sporty overall. The paths through the heather were quite hilly and sometimes very sandy. Like the forest roads too. So that was a decent workout for the legs, plus eight pounds on my back. 🦵😅🥾
At the forester's house in Kohlenbach, I left the Heidschnuckenweg to walk another four kilometers through a great piece of forest to my accommodation (but these are already included in the total number of kilometers)
Of course I'll walk this piece back to the forester's lodge tomorrow morning to start the last stage.
