Hamningberg is a wonderful surreal place which I have visited a couple of times. The road to Hamningberg is like a moon landscape.



But the whole Varanger Peninsula is amazing and well worth the effort to travel to.

On our onward journey🚐 heading north⬆️🧭, we stopped again🛑 a good distance behind Kuusamo🏘️🏦🏭. From a hiking parking lot🅿️, we climbed the plateau of Konttaisen⛰️. The paths were 💯% signposted and easy to walk. The view👀 was sensational🤩. A clear recommendation!
