Today I had myself dropped off in Clausthal. From the Schützenplatz, it went in the direction of the Buntenböcker Teiche to the Eisensteinlehrpfad down to Lerbach and back to home turf via the Freiheit. The loop includes some trail sections where walking is simply mandatory to avoid falling. Overall

The first 3 kilometers were terrible. My legs were heavy and my head wasn't clear. On days like these, discipline is required to not give up. Since my stubbornness prevailed once again, it turned out to be a wonderful round in the end.
